CARE INFORMATION

Concrete is strong and durable but should be treated as ceramic as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface.

Planter Pots

Whilst concrete is a perfect medium for planters, there are some guidelines that need to be followed to ensure the structural integrity of your planter is maintained.

The roots of plants and trees cause destruction to even the hardest of material – like concrete. The weight and pressure of the soil can cause damage and cracking. For these reasons it is not recommended that you plant directly into our concrete planters (with exception of our small and hanging planters).

It is recommended that plants are contained in plastic pots and placed inside the concrete pot. This process also assists should you need to move your pot.

Our concrete planter bowls can be planted into, however, are not designed to be filled from the base to the top.  The depth of the soil should not exceed 75%.

All lightweight planters come with drainage holes.

Concrete Homewares

Our concrete platters, plates, dishes and bowls are suitable for dry foods only. To clean, wipe over with a warm, damp cloth. Do not place in the oven or dishwasher.
